Turkish Apricot Dessert Recipe - (Kayisi Tatlisi)

Ingredients
4 servings
- 250 gr dry apricots
- 2 cups water
- Syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- Garnish:
- 1 cup very thick cream
- 100 gr bleached almond
- 1/4 cup pistachio nuts, crushed
Preparation
- Soak the apricots in water overnight. Next day boil the syrup (water and sugar), drain the apricots and add into the syrup. Boil for 15 minutes and then let cool.
- To serve, place an almond in each apricot and spread half a teaspoon of cream per plate. Garnish with pistachio nuts.
