Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cherries
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 Tbs butter
Preparation
Wash the cherries and remove their stems. Drain well. Cut them in halves and remove pits.
Combine in a large bowl the flour, sugar and salt. Add, little by little, eggs, cold milk, and butter.
Butter a deep pie dish. Sprinkle cherries and pour in the mixture. Bake at 300°F for approximately 45 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar. Serve warm or cold.
