Ingredients
4 servings
- 3 T Butter
- 2 T Flour
- 1/2 t Salt
- 1 ds Pepper, black
- 1 c Water
- 1 t Lemon juice
Preparation
Melt butter in double boiler. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly blended.
Add water gradually while stirring and cook over boiling water until smooth and thick - stirring constantly.
Add lemon juice. Serve over asparagus, broccoli or fish.
