Bechamel - White sauce

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 50gr of butter or 4 spoons of extre virgin olive oil
  • 2 heaped spoonfuls of white flour
  • half a litre of milk
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • a pinch of nutmeg

Preparation

Melt the butter in a pan until liquid.
Heat the milk.
Add the flour to the butter, mixing with the wooden spoon until the butter is absorbed.
Add, little by little, the hot milk, stirring so that no lumps are formed.
Add the salt and nutmeg and still stirring, cook (on a medium heat) for 15 minutes
