Chicken Sauce

Ingredients
6 servings
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot, peeled and chopped (into circles)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 2 chopped celery stalks
- 1/4 cup chopped leek
- 1 tbsp butter
- a dash of salt and white pepper
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Preparation
1. Place all ingredients (except corn flour and butter) in a pot. Cook on moderate heat for 20 mn. Remove bay leaves and cinnamon sticks.
2. Remove stock mixture from heat. Process. Return to pot.
3. Dissolve cornflour in some water. Add to processed mixture. Cook on low heat. Stir constantly until it boils.
4. Add butter (as desired), cook sauce until it thickens.
